i was watching certified with my little brother when they announced that Katy had referred to herself as the skinnier version of Lily Allen.
my brother and i are both in agreement when i say that;yes, Katy is pretty. but prettier than Lily Allen? WRONG!!!!!
Lily Allen will always be prettier AND skinnier than Katy perry. that is, unless Katy becomes anorexic! sorry Katy, but Lily will always be prettier and more talented than you!

don't get me wrong, i like both of them, i really do.
but now that people are voting on a new pop princess to take the throne, i have to tell myself and the world(i don't care if you care, i m telling you anyway!!) my honest opinion.

first: pros and cons of lady gaga(pros first)
lady gaga is edgier than Katy perry.
she has better choreography.
her costumes are always outrageous (in a good way) you never know what crazy outfit she will were, but you're(or at least I'M not)never (ever) disappointed.
and her voice is much cuter(sometimes she does funny things with her voice on the cd)
her music videos make you go "what the hell?!?" because they are so out there, but you don't turn it off, you keep watching to see what will happen next.
sometimes i even watch them again to see if i missed anything because there is always so much going on all at once.
she isn't afraid to put herself out there.

cons:
she isn't prettier than Katy(but she isn't ugly).
a few of her songs have to be heard more than once before you start to like them.

last:Katy perry
prettier than lady gaga.
vintage 40's style.
her songs are tolerable the first several times you hear them.

granny bathing suits.

after hearing "i kissed a girl" more than 12 times, i am ready to punch some one in the face.
after a while, all of her songs irritate me.
if i listen to one of her songs twice, i start to find a lot of things about it that bug me.
in the very beginning of "thinking of you" all I'm thinking is "WHAT THE HELL IS SHE SAYING?!?!"
she thinks she is skinnier than Lily Allen.
sometimes she sounds like shes trying slightly too hard and after a while her voice is annoying because she sounds a little like she is slurring her words at random (but its beautiful when she speaks).

over all, between lady gaga and Katy perry, lady gaga wins.
the title goes (or should go) to the more talented artist.
music is not a beauty contest (if it was, Katy would win hands down).
lady gaga is the true American pop princess.

Dear diary,

I turned 13 yesterday afternoon… yay. No one wished me “happy birthday.” Mom argued with dad on the phone.

Sanji was hanging out with his “special friend” all day and came home drunk this morning. I was the only one who noticed the stench of vodka on his breath. I spent my birthday alone in my room. Since I don’t really have any friends.

Sanji stumbled through the door, barely able to stand; he turned to me and whispered, “If mom asks where I’ve been, what do you say?”

I gave him my usual response and hoarsely whispered back, “you were at Shinichi-san’s house and you lost track of time.” My throat was sore from crying all day and all night.

“What else?”

“You didn’t call because you figured we would both be asleep and you ended up staying the night.”

“Good boy,” he pated me on the head as though I were a puppy that just learned a new trick, and tried to stumble to his room as quietly as possible. Just before he shut the door, I heard him say my name, “Shinji,” I turned to face him and slowly, he beckoned me over to his bedroom. “Come in here,” I followed his commands cautiously. “I know it was your birthday yesterday,” my eyes widened, I thought he had forgotten. “I want to make it up to you,” he continued as my face lit up while I listened intently to my big brother.

“Arden and I are going to bring you with us later when mom leaves for her business trip.”

“Really?!” I asked with excitement (but still whispering). Big brother never takes me with him! I’m so happy!

I could barely contain my overwhelming joy. I felt like jumping up and down and running all around the house screaming like a little kid about him letting me spend the day with him.

“Really. Now get some sleep; I’ll wake you up in a few hours.” He ruffled my hair a bit and shut the door.

Dear diary,

Big brother kept his promise! He and Arden-san took me to the movies and Arden –san bought me all the candy I wanted. Then they took me to the arcade and they gave me all their tickets so I could get a better prize, but Arden-san said that if I saved all of my tickets, he would bring me back to win more.

So I’m going to save my tickets so I can get the giant stuffed shark that’s hanging from the ceiling. This was my first time meeting Arden-san. He smells funny, but he’s really nice and says that we are friends now. They also bought me some new video games and we played them until 2: ooam. It was the best day of my life.

Big brother has been taking me everywhere with him. I’m happy, but I still wonder what happened to dad. Mom hasn’t called, but she emailed me 2 days ago telling me not to worry.

“Big brother?” I asked shyly, “what happened to dad?” I added, but realized too late that I sounded like I was going to cry (exactly how I didn’t want to sound).

“Dad…” he sounded as though he was trying to find the right words. “Dad ran away in the middle of the night with his mistress. He is never coming back.”

“What’s a mistress?”

“A mistress is a side dish.”

“Side dish?”

“Yes. And mom was the main course that got cold too fast, but the side dish was hot and ready for eating. Understand?”

“I think so.” After that, we didn’t talk about it again and I went to bed a few hours later.

I woke up this morning and big brother smelled just like Arden-san. And I now know why.

He was sitting in a circle with Arden-san and several other people I did not recognize.

“Hey sleepy head, c’mon and join us!” said an older boy I didn’t recognize. It appeared to me that it was his little brother sitting next to him, he went to my school.

“What are you doing?” I asked with curiosity. My brother looked at me with his irresistible brotherly gaze and told me to sit down next to him. And unable to comprehend why, I obediently complied with whatever he wanted me to do.

He passed me what appeared to be a burning piece of rolled up paper that smelled exactly like Arden-san, and then proceeded to instruct me to put the un-lit end in my mouth and inhale deeply. I didn’t want to do it, but Sanji was all I had and I couldn’t bring myself to disappoint him.

I can’t quite recall everything that happened yesterday. I can only remember feeling very calm and relaxed and big brother sitting next to me asking me how I feel. I’m not sure if I actually said something, or just smiled.

I was in the living room watching TV while Sanji was still asleep. It was a program to promote the phrase: “choose love, not drugs.” It’s a phrase one hears often around Wushu (since Wushu is infamous for drug use). Then the lady from the TV said something that struck a chord with me and really hit home, “Older siblings may initiate younger siblings to the various vices by bringing them along when they’re hanging out with their older friends.”(Argys) she continued, to what appeared to me, blame the older siblings.

“Later-born children are especially prone to engaging in risky and delinquent behaviors,” (Argys) and she said something else that (for some reason) shocked me: “younger siblings between the ages of 12 and 17 were more likely to smoke, drink, and smoke pot.”(Argys)

A man came to my school today to give an “anti-violence” speech. Now I can’t help but wonder, does my brother do drugs because of me?

The date is 10-13-9042, and mom is home earlier than expected. She is yelling at Sanji about the pot and empty bottles of booze lying on the floor. I open my bedroom door and peek out into the living room when I hear her scream. Sanji pinned her up against the wall while using his free hand to hold a long kitchen knife up to her throat.

He threatened to kill her if she sent him to rehab. Later that night, I went into her room, but she couldn’t hear me come in over her obnoxiously loud sobs. It wasn’t a pretty sight at all. Her nose was red and running as tears seemed to flow endlessly from her sad, puffy eyes.

“Mom,” I say with quietly as my tongue spewed guilt with every shameful word that fell from my lips like a lead balloon. “I want to get better.” I continued as I began to sob in desperate shame.

“What?” she said in quiet disbelief under he gasping sobs. “Oh No! Not you too!” she began to weep even more heavily than before. I reached over to hug and console the woman who gave me life. And for awhile, we both sobbed, holding each other close.

“I don’t want to be a stereotype.”

DEATH NOTE LIVE ACTION (movies 1&2)

a couple of days ago i watched the 1st death note live action movie.
it was nothing like the anime OR the manga.
exept for the fact that some of the things i will now list: LIGHT YAGAMI FINDS THE DEATH NOTE(but he didn't even find it in the right place), RYUK & REM, LIGHTS FAMILY, MATSUDA,and i'm not going to spoil the rest.

yesterday i went to see DEATH NOTE 2: THE LAST NAME (lol! dramatic.^^)
it was also NOTHING LIKE THE ANIME!!!!!
and since there is another viewing tonight i will not say why it is nothing like the anime.
BUT! i will say: IT WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!
the entire audience was cracking up during almost every other scene!
u know why?
would u like 2 know why?
BECAUSE KENICHI MATSUYAMA(L) IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there were also a LOT of WTF? moments!^^
this is(&was) a FATHOM EVENT!!
i am looking forward to (hopefuly) many more!

(THE SECERET LESSON) CHAPTER 1: CLASS A AND THE MISSING BENTO

"AAAAAH"
My heart is beating fast.
I tall myself it was only a dream. A vivid dream. A scary dream.
It felt so real. But i can't remember what happened, or how i wound up in my room.
I start to cry.
Dad's new boyfriend calls me downstairs.
He spent the night last night and sashimi with rice is my breakfast.
I eat in silence without looking up.
I leave. I walk to school.
I try to remember what happened and why i feel so cold.
I fail miserably.
I'm lost in the depths of my own mind, when i feel a hand gently linger on my shoulder.
It's Nero.
I look down to hide my face.
I don't want him to see me blush.
The school year has just begun, and i'm already confused and miserable.
"I'm glad you passed the entrance exam. I hope we're in the same class!"
Nero is adorable when he smiles. But i don't think he realizes it, though.
As we near the school, Nero grabs my hand and we start to run.
We don't stop until we reach "TENTH GRADE CLASS POSTINGS" on the bulletin board.
We are high school freshmen now. Nero slides his finger along a list of names.
i space out.
"YAAAAAY!"
Nero is jumping up and down like a little kid an Christmas. Or in his case, like a little kid on the night of winter Solstice about to preform his 1st ritual honouring the gods.
We are both in class A.
Our day starts out with basic English. The sensei is a 25-year old man handsome, and blond.
It makes sense.
It IS an all boys private high school, after all.
I observe from the doorway as he gracefully writes something on the board behind his desk for the clas to see.
"Onaka-sensei desu."
His name is Onaka-sensei.
He's the one who prepped me for entrance exams over break.
And 3 days ago, he became my reoccurring nightmare.
Nero pokes my shoulder.
"Let's sit over there!"
2nd row, seats 10 & 11.
Sensei turns to look at the class.
His eyes.
TOO familiar.
I can feel my eyes grow wide as i look at him. I remember his eyes from my dream.
The way he looked at me.
His lips move, but there is no sound.
O.S. :KINOASEY TENJO!
ME: ...PRESENT!
I zone out again until lunch, when i realize i forgot my sushi bento.
NERO: Here! we can split my edamame and steak bento!
ME:I'm not hungry.
He frowns.
NERO: Then i won't eat either!
He gives his lunch to a boy brunette and bespectacled.

"Fairy Tail"is about a young, cute, female celestial wizard named Lucy who is dying to join the famouse fairy tail guilde. fairy tail is filled with the most powerful wizards of all time! and out of those wizards, lucy makes nice with a strange (tho VERY cute) boy named Natsu. Natsu isn't your average hero-he gets motion sick, eats like a pig, and his best friend just so happens to be a talking cat named Happy!
Hmmmmmm.....if only my cat was blu and could talk...now THAT would be MUY INTERESANTE!
after reading volumes 1 & 2 i LITERALLY wore the "FAIRY TAIL" emblem on my hand like Lucy for 3 weeks claiming to be a wizard from fairy tail!(LOL!) ...i amaze my self...

Though the evil deeds of Gacto & Michel are finally over, the story the the fans really want to know still hasn't been told!Now the wait is over. In the final chapter of PICHI PICHI PITCH , the mystery of Lucia & Kaito's first ,meeting is revealed-as well as Lucia's amazing destiny!
The final vol. is a little hard to follow, but is still well written! But if u read all the stories in the back of the book , u will notice that all the boys that the heroines in the stories fell in luv w/ all looked like Kaito! XD

Review: Shiki Tsukai

He also meets the beautiful Koyomi, another warrior, who is sworn to protect him, for there are evil forces intent on destroying Akira -- and the universe!

My favorite part was when Akira woke up thinking he had a bad dream, and when he realized what was going on he freaked out! Then his parents rushed into his room and freaked out because they thought their son was gettin' nasty with the guest (Koyomi)!

FYI: There's a lot of freaking out in Shiki Tsukai!

Review: Guru Guru Pon-Chan

Guru Guru Pon-Chan is about a young girl named Ponta who is actually a dog. She uses the Guru Guru bone to transform into a human to win the heart of Mirai Iwaki.

I have just finished reading Volume 9 of Guru Guru Pon-Chan, and this is the first time a manga has made me cry! The middle was sad, but there was a happy ending (I suggest you read the series from the beginning).

Review: My Heavenly Hockey Club

My Heavenly Hockey Club is about a girl named Hana who loves only two things in life: eating and sleeping! I must admit, eating and sleeping are two of my most favorite things to do as well.

But, unlike that bakaomi Hana, if some super hot guy (who just happens to be loaded) asked me to join the hockey club, of course I'm not going to say yes for the food!

Anyhoo, I would classify My Heavenly Hockey Club as a comedy, with twins. I mean, come on, who doesn't like twins?

Review: Princess Resurrection

Princess Resurrection is about a beautiful princess named Hime who evil with a chainsaw and a smile. My favorite part is in chapter two where she encounters an invisible man.

The overall story is written well, the artwork is great and the whole thing is funny with a hot princess to top it all off! How much better can it get?
